He achieved this feat on 6 May 1954 at Iffley Road track in Oxford, with Chris Chataway and Chris Brasher providing the pacing. When the announcer declared "The time was three...", the cheers of the crowd drowned out Bannister's exact time, which was 3 min 59.4 sec.
Bannister's record lasted just 46 days. He had reached this record with minimal training, while practising as a junior doctor.
Bannister went on to become a distinguished neurologist and Master of Pembroke College, Oxford, before retiring in 1993. When asked whether the 4-minute mile was his proudest achievement, he said he felt prouder of his contribution to academic medicine through research into the responses of the nervous system. Bannister is patron of the MSA Trust. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2011.[

DeviceStickTalk3

this devices helps you communicate with people who have difficulty hearing and this is a way to communicate with them. this could also help if you don't understand how to read sign language. If a person whom you talk to is deaf, speak to the device then it will show what you said on the display. If a user of this device is deaf, the user easily can express his/her thoughts, even if the other doesn’t know sign language, by writing sentences on the palm using the stick, then it will sense what you are writing and either display the text or speak. This function allows conversation to be possible even between the deaf and the blind.

BLOWN TO BITS - SUMMARY:

Anything you put on the Internet or sent by the computer is saved there forever and people that have access to it could view it, in this case a crime was committed and the U.S send it by email and most of the things were taken off meaning someone will ever know what had happen.  Giuliana SGreng Italian journalist was held hostage for a month, and soliders gunfired for speeding and didn't slow when warned. The Italians decline both claims. The U.S made a 42 page report and the Italians quickly made there own report which was different from the U.S which the U.S had sensitive information about the gunfire, the document was distributed electronically not physically which was posted in a web sight and it was visible to hundreds of users. An Italian blogger saw the report and used a software to get the report and put it on his own website, the document showed danger to U.S soliders and government. This tells me that computer could be a good tool for any person who knows how to use it but at the same time it could be a dangerous tool to people who have hidden information that no one could ever know.

“He’s just a nice kid and very humble,” said family friend Dave Mahoney. “He does a lot of volunteer time and a lot of people don’t know that about him.”
In a hobby largely dominated by adults, Alex shows grace and poise as he performs to electro-dance music with a thumping beat, bowing casually at the end of his set. He is considered a professional.
“The thing about yo-yoing is nobody’s harsh,” he told the Daily Breeze in 2010. “It is competitive, but everybody’s friendly and cheers for each other.”

Reflection: this is an arete person because he doesn't only know how to do yoyo but he likes helping other people and do volunteer things. this help us see that everything is possible you just need to be committed to it, and try your best anything is possible and could be done no matter how hard it looks its just the matter of trying and doing your best.
